Jesus calls each of us as members of the Body of Christ to continue His mission. Are you being called to be a part of that mission as a catechist who ministers to this generation and helps to deepen their faith?
A catechist is an ordinary person who is extraordinary because he or she teaches as Jesus did. Responding to this call from the Lord includes willingness to give time and talent, not only to catechizing others, but to one’s own continued growth in faith and understanding.
As a catechist, you join others in their faith journey while enriching your own faith. Resources and materials and the experience of others are all available to help you.
