As a parish family, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will work to build God's Kingdom by creating opportunities for our parishioners, our community and our visitors, to encounter Jesus in a life-changing way, to set their hearts on fire with His love and to challenge them to become fully engaged disciples.
The Stewardship Committee was established in 2005 to help all members of our parish recognize that everything we have is a gift from God. We all share the responsibility to care for the many gifts that God has entrusted to us, including our health, our families, our faith, our parish community, our place of worship, our clergy, our environment...and more. We are also accountable to God for our use of these gifts. Therefore, we must live and give as Christians, generously sharing our God given gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Stewardship Prayer
Heavenly Father, we are called to a life of faithful Stewardship. As Christian Stewards we are called by Jesus and to Jesus.
We are called to know Christ, to love Christ, to believe in Christ and to be committed to Christ. Lord, you call us to a life of service, for the world is full of need.
We ask you to give us strength in times of weakness and faith in time of doubts. May we hear your call and be dedicated in our love and service to one another by the unselfish giving of our Time, Talent, and Treasure.
We pray that the Holy Spirit, whose gracious action conforms us to Jesus Christ and to His Holy Church, will enlighten us all and help us to renew our commitment as the Lord's disciples, and as Stewards of his bountiful gifts.
As we rejoice this day in your gracious generosity, help us as good Stewards to share a suitable portion of the gifts we have received from you. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
