Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry program at St. Anne-St. Patrick Parish focuses on providing opportunities for our youth to encounter Jesus through service to the needy, retreat experiences & fellowship with one another.

Summer Service Weeks:

Young Neighbors in Action and Just 5 Days - These programs offer opportunities for our High School and Jr. High School students to reach out to the poor and needy. YNIA and J5D are unique Catholic service-learning experiences committed to exploring our Church’s mission in the world while connecting young people to meaningful service opportunities.  Our teens will explore Catholic social teaching while serving our brothers and sisters in need.

Youth Retreat/Encounter Opportunities:

1. Steubenville East Youth Conference - Held every summer, the Steubenville East High School Youth Conference is an exciting weekend experience with contemporary worship music, dynamic speakers, Mass, reconciliation, adoration, recreation & thousands of Catholic teens. The conference is open to all students currently in Grades 8-12.
2. Teen Encounter Weekend - Offered throughout the year, Teen Encounter is a retreat for teens, high school age and older, where teens encounter themselves, others, and Jesus Christ. TEC is a Catholic Christian experience based on what it means to be Christian, especially a teenage Catholic Christian living in a world that is often in darkness and ignorant of Jesus, the true light of the world.
3. Soul Fest - Held every summer, Soul Fest is a Christian Music Festival where our youth can experience fellowship together and the best in contemporary Christian Music.

Local Service Opportunities:

1. St. Michael’s Community Meal - Parish youth help serve a meal to the elderly & needy of the community on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
2. Stewardship of Talent - Parish youth support various groups & organizations in the parish, serving the elderly, the poor and those in need, and sharing their talents throughout the parish.
3. Stewardship of Treasure - In addition to donating 50% of the proceeds from our Cardboard City fundraiser to St. Vincent de Paul, 10% of all other fundraising proceeds are also donated to St. Vincent De Paul as a demonstration of solidarity with those in need in our own community.

Fundraising & Social Activities:

Additionally, various fundraising and social activities including car washes, game nights, bowling, etc. are offered as opportunities for our youth to gather together in fellowship & fun.
